Elliot is currently Senior Director, Strategy & Business Development, at US Cellular and has over 3 decades of experience as a leader in strategy and corporate development. He also serves on the board of Marwen and has previously served on the board of Internet of Things America, Fixt and Innovation Enterprise. Elliot holds a Bachelor of Arts and Architecture from Rice University and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford Business School.

Board Treasurer

Olusegun is Managing Partner Obsidian Capital. He has over 2 decades of international experience in business leadership, wealth management, corporate finance and investment banking. Olusegun also serves on the board of Ecobank Development Corporation and Intercontinental Distillers Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State College, as well as, a Juris Doctor from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Valerie is Senior Managing Director of Lamoine Property Management. She is an experienced asset manager of affordable residential properties financed by Low Income Housing Tax Credits and HUD insured mortgages, with over 35 years experience. Valerie holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Central Missouri State University and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. She is also a member of the National Women’s Affordable Housing Network.

Board Secretary

Theda has over 3 decades of experience in nanotechnology. Currently, Theda holds an endowed professorship in electrical engineering at Louisiana State University (LSU). She also serves on the board of LSU College of Engineering Diversity Advisory Board and Tulane University Department of Physics & Engineering Physics Advisory Board. Theda holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.

Local resident. Maggie is a retired senior accountant who resides in Frankfort, IL. Maggie has managed accounting and financial reporting services for community development corporations and for-profit management companies for the past 30 years including Draper and Kramer, P.M. One and the Woodlawn CDC. She has actively been involved with the financial reporting on housing portfolios that include over 4,000 units representing market rate, tax credit, cooperative, and public housing communities. Maggie holds a Bachelor of Science from Western Illinois University.
